Arnot House

About Us
Situated in a quiet side street - a few minutes walk from the busy city centre and York train station, Arnot House Bed and Breakfast has many original Victorian features but also all the modern facilities guests require for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The three spacious guest rooms are on the middle and top floors of this three floor Victorian terraced house. All rooms have ensuite facilities, a large brass bed, original artworks and antique furniture, a 32 inch digital TV/DVD with Freeview, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray with various teas, coffees and hot chocolate, and a selection of biscuits and snacks. A number of other items are provided to make your stay more comfortable.
A full Yorkshire breakfast is included in the room rate - starting with various cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and fruit juice and followed by various hot breakfast choices, toast, preserves and filtered coffee or tea. We use a number of local food suppliers for our bacon, sausages, free range eggs, breads etc - all from within a 15 mile radius.
Arnot House is totally non-smoking.
We have a minimum two night stay throughout the year.
Sorry - we do not take children, pets or groups of people.
We have a lovely house cat - Dribble - who is shy of guests except when food is concerned....
We do ask guests to arrive after 2pm and before 7pm - but we are happy to welcome guests arriving earlier...with prior arrangement.
