Ainsty Ales Brewery & Taproom

About Us
Ainsty Ales was est. in 2014 & gains its inspiration from the ancient 'York & Ainsty Wapentake', a medieval once self-governing area stretching from the centre of York to the immediate West, dating back to the 1200’s. Founder & MD Andy Herrington was Born & Bred in York and the ethos of the brewery is and always will be to produce great tasting beers as eco-friendly as possible, to work with great local businesses and to support whenever possible local good causes / charities. We're very proud to be an official St. Leonards business partner and 2014 saw the first annual "Coptoberfest", a Charity BeerFest in St. Giles Church Copmanthorpe, run & organised jointly by Ainsty Ales Brewery & St. Giles Church which raises around £4k annually.
We have a fantastic Taproom which looks out over Manor Farm, open every Friday throughout the year and Saturdays also from April to October we have Street Food every Friday and regular Live-Music! .... please checkout Facebook for weekly updates.
