Looking for a Viking fix this February half term? JORVIK Viking Centre will be hosting the world’s largest online Viking Festival between 19th – 27th February.

What's involved?
That JORVIK Viking Thing includes livestreams, podcasts and video on demand so you can immerse yourself in Viking life at home!
One of the largest Viking treasure hoards ever found in the UK, the magnificent Silverdale Hoard, will be arriving at JORVIK Viking Centre this February - find out more in a special live-streamed talk with the Viking experts.
Listeners can also enjoy music, lectures, children’s activities and a host of on-demand video that can be enjoyed by people all over the world.
Last year the Thing reached a global audience of around 3.6 million.
When will it take place?
The online Festival will take place during half-term week (19 -27 February 2022).

Viking fun for the whole family
From children’s events to academic lectures there’s something for the whole family to get involved in. Plus, School Week will also be returning from 14th-18th February - with plenty of pre-recorded, live-streamed and downloadable content for teachers to use in the classroom!
