This luxury property has partial Minster views framed beautifully by the lounge wooden double glazed sash window wrapped with designer velvet full length curtains. the view of the Minster can be obscured in summer as we are blessed being surrounded by mature trees. With proper central heating radiators you will be toasties warm in the winter and as it has a dual aspect living area keeping a through breeze is no problem in the mid-summer either, free off-street allocated parking is included however no need for the car as it's only around a 5 to 10 minute stroll from York railway station via a footbridge, indeed it's less than a 10 minute walk to most of the top attractions including; York Minster, river boat tours, open top bus trips, ghost walks, shops, restaurants and pubs and a host of other city centre attractions. Nearest good pub serving traditional food/ales is around a two or three minute walk, as is the Sainsburys local supermarket, Yorkshire museum, museum gardens, art gallery and restaurants. This is an exclusive part of the city where many properties are valued in millions, the neighbouring hotels are open to non-residents for breakfast, meals and spa treatments too! The biggest decision is what route to take, stroll down to the end of the street and along the river bank walk past the motor cruisers and boats to Lendel Bridge and why not call in at The Star in the city exclusive bar/restaurant with its elevated decking area over looking the river on the way? Alternatively take a walk though the stunning museum gardens past ancient remains or simply enjoy magnificent views of the majestic Minster as you walk along Bootham.

York offers an array of things to do and see, climb to the roof of York Minster and enjoy the spectacular views, descend into the spine chilling York dungeon, tickle your taste buds in the host of eateries, be it fine dining or food festivals, real ale pubs, micro brewery's or afternoon tea at the world famous Betty's tea room, if you fancy something more contemporary there's Jamie Oliver's restaurant or a plethora of others too. York is famed for it chocolate so try your hand as a chocolatier at York cocoa house or what about a pottery class! offers you the chance of being an archaeologist for a day, but take a change of clothes! Keep up-to-date with what's on with visityork smart phone app. Other useful sources are and Sorry no smoking, no pets. Anyone with limited mobility may not be able to enjoy this property as it is on the second floor, (two flights of stairs) no lift/elevator sorry! The entrance serves only 2 other property's (all below) so with no neighbours above or to the sides you should have a peaceful stay! We look forward to welcoming you soon on a sort break, say Friday to Monday, Monday to Friday or longer say Friday to Friday, that said we are flexible with bookings so if you need something bespoke please ask.
