Martin & Eliza Carthy

Martin & Eliza Carthy

Martin & Eliza Carthy

Martin has long been one of folk music's best loved and most innovative figures. His skill, presence and charm have won him countless admirers, from Bob Dylan and Paul Simon onwards, and his trailblazing partners have included Steeleye Span, Dave Swarbrick and wife Norma Waterson. Their daughter Eliza is one of the most impressive and engaging performers of her own generation, twice nominated for the Mercury Prize and winner of innumerable other accolades. She has helped revitalise English folk and captures the most hardened of dissenters with intelligent, charismatic and boundarycrossing performances. Father and daughter together will be pure magic!
