    By Road:

    You can get to York quickly from the UK motorway network. Travelling north on the M1 or A1 you'll come to the A64 intersection. The city is 20 minutes away via dual carriageway.

    Travelling south on the A1, you'll also leave the motorway at the A64.

    From the west on the M62, join the M1 northbound until you reach the intersection with the A64.

    York is also served by the A19, A59 and A1079 routesinto the city.


    By Public Transport:

    York is well served by the train network. If you do not wish to bring your car to York, it is easy to catch one of the regular trains stopping in York. From the station it is possible to walk to The Palm Court. Alternatively there are usually many taxis available in front of the station
