A little bit of Spain in York !

Soak up the sun and atmosphere of Spain in the beautiful historic environment of York.

When my mum and I come to York for shopping and lunch, it's always an easy task with so many restaurants and bars to choose from but a chance encounter into La Tasca proved to be a real winner!

We popped into La Tasca after a hard morning shopping expecting to have a quick lunch before hitting the shops again but once we took our seat on the outdoor, upstairs patio we were there to stay! The main area of the restaurant is lovely and atmospheric but the patio upstairs is a suntrap and a well kept secret. We spent the afternoon sipping sangria and leisurely eating paella whilst soaking in the beautiful buildings surrounding us. Shopping lost it's importance for the day, looks like we'll have to come again soon to start the day again!
