Welcome to Warrens, a friendly family run Guest House designed around the principle that great service and good value make our guests want to return, and they do, the highest accolade any business can have.

Ideally situated close to the City Walls, park your car in our private car park and enjoy a short walk to the city centre and all its attractions, Racecourse, Train Station and great restaurants.

All our rooms are en suite and equipped with a hospitality tray, trouser press, hair drier, television and radio alarm clock, and thermostatically controlled heating. A wireless LAN and a PC dedicated for the use of our guests is available.

By continually striving to make our guests stay a pleasurable one. We have won several awards not only 4 stars from the ETC but also a Silver Gilt for our garden areas and Gold Award for our smoke free environment but we have also been finalists in Guest House of The Year and Guest House Person of the Year.

If you want to add a little extra romance to your stay with us, we can put a bottle of chilled Champagne and Chocolates in your room for your arrival, if you want anything else, just ask.

By Road:

From M1 South - A64. Take York West A1036. Count five sets of traffic lights (if you pass the Kwik Fit garage you have gone one set of lights to far), then turn right into Scarcroft road, Warrens is past the Green on the left. If you get lost please telephone and we can guide you in!

From North - Travel along the A1(M) southbound and take the junction marked A59 (this is the York Harrogate road), shortly after passing the Fox Pub you will reach the Iron Bridge. Turn right immediately after crossing the iron bridge, into Dalton Terrace. At the next traffic lights, keep left and turn left. Move into the right hand lane and follow the lane arrows turning right into Scarcroft Road. (If you pass the Kwik Fit garage you have gone one set of lights to far). Warrens is past the Green on the left. If you get lost please telephone and we can guide you in!

On Foot:
A 10 minute walk, or the minimum charge from the Taxi rank in front of the Station.
