The Dutch House is a listed building believed to be York's Oldest Brick built house dating from 1648 and is one of York's finest historical private residences, which has recently been sympathetically renovated.

The Dutch House is in the street of Ogleforth to the rear of York Minster and adjacent to Chapter House Street, where the Romans marched into York.

The accommodation is spread over 3 floors and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with under floor heating throughout. This is a luxurious two double-bedroom house with individual en suite facilities, comprising of a fully equipped handmade kitchen and open plan lounge which offers a very sociable room. Many of York's attractions are located on your doorstep from Theatres, restaurants, designer shopping and places of interest.

From the East travel into York on the A64/ Malton Road follow the signs for the city continue straight through Monkbar and take the first right onto Ogleforth.
From the South travel into York on the A19 continue through the city , follow the Bar Walls and turn left by Monkbar hotel. Continue straight through Monkbar and take the first right onto Ogleforth
From the North, travel south on A19 down Bootham, turn left at Bootham Bar and first right at the next set of lights. Follow the Bar walls and turn right at the next set of lights and continue straight through Monkbar and take the first right onto Ogleforth.
From the West, from A64 travel into York on Tadcaster Road continue past the Racecourse, follow the signs for the railway station. Continue under the Bar walls and over Lendal bridge, turn left at the lights in front of the Minster. At the next set of lights continue straight onto Gillygate.Turn right at the next set of lights. Follow the Bar walls and turn right at the next set of lights and continue straight through Monkbar and take the first right onto Ogleforth

On Foot:
From the railway station, turn left out of the station and walk under the Bar walls and over Lendal Bridge. Continue straight with the Minster on your left, walk right round to the back of the Minster. When you can go no further turn right onto the cobbled Chapter House Street which bends to the right and becomes Ogleforth. The Dutch House is located on the right towards the top of the street.
