Burswood Guest House is located on the main incoming route from the A64 (A1036) on the south side of the city, within 30 minutes walking distance from the city centre and visitor attractions. Local restaurants, shops are adjacent and the Park and Ride bus terminal is 10 minutes walk.

The Burswood has 5 high standard individually furnished rooms. 2 double and one twin ground level rooms. The two double first floor rooms have air conditioning.
All rooms have en-suite shower or shower/bathrooms and full hospitality facilities including comfortable lounge chairs, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, hair dryer, clock, minibar fridges, radio, ironing board station, trouser press, digital LCD T~, luggage stands, bathrobes and slippers.

By Road:

From the A1 take A64 to York. Follow city centre signs to York (A1036) on to Tadcaster Road, passing the Tesco Store and straight on, at the roundabout. When you see small shops on the left, you should also see the 'Burswood Guest House' sign.
If you are driving, from the railway station turn right and then right again at the traffic lights on to Blossom Street, and straight for 1.5 miles passing the race course on the left hand side until you come to Dringhouses Church and them follow the previous paragraph

By Public Transport:

From the Railway Station by bus take the Dringhouses bus to Dringhouses Church (St. Edward the Confessor). Keep straight on and after 500 yards you will see the 'Burswood Guest House' sign on your right.
