The Juniper is a unique, stylish and well equipped basement apartment with two bedrooms and a private courtyard garden.
Located in a Victorian townhouse just beyond the City walls in a peaceful conservation area The Juniper is a short walk from the shops, restaurants, City centre attractions and railway station.
The Juniper provides luxury accommodation for up to 4 people. It comprises one double room with ensuite shower and one twin bedroom with 3ft wide beds, both with ample storage. The open plan living area offers TV, DVD, video and Hi-Fi. The dining area provided comfortable seating for 6 people and the kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer and microwave. The house bathroom has a roll-top bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin. A washer/dryer is located in the utility room and there is a cloakroom with WC and washbasin. Bookings are on a weekly basis (Saturday-Saturday) but short breaks are available by arrangement.
Check-in times are between 2pm and 5pm, and guests are requested to leave by 10 am. A permit for one car is provided for on street parking. The Juniper is a strictly non-smoking property and we do not accept pets.

By Road:
From the A1 and the South/West- Leave the A1 at the A64 and follow the signs for York.Take the A1036 signed City Centre. At Micklegate Bar turn left and follow the road past the station and through the next set of lights and left over Lendal Bridge. turn left at the Minster lights and left again at Bootham Bar on to Bootham. Take the second left into St Mary's and The Juniper is at the end of the street on the left.

On Foot:
From the station - Turn left on leaving the station and follow the road over Lendal Bridge. Turn left into Museum gardens and continue along the main path through to the gates onto Marygate. Cross over the road and walk through Marygate Lane. Take the steps on the right and continue in front of Abbots Mews to St. Mary's. Turn right into St. Mary's and the gate to The Juniper is just to your right
