JORVIK'S sister attraction, DIG - An Archaeological Adventure opened in 2006 and has been delighting visitors ever since! Never before have you been able to experience an authentic interactive adventure like this!

Visitors are invited to grab their trowels and get their hands dirty whilst going on a fascinating archaeological exploration of Roman, Medieval, Viking and Victorian times. By Foot:
From JORVIK Viking Centre, turn left up Coppergate Walk. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and turn right along Coppergate. (All Saints Church Pavement with its remarkable lantern tower is on your left.)Continue straight ahead at the traffic lights, passing the Halifax Building Society and Marks and Spencer's on your left. Pass the end of the Shambles and St Crux Parish Hall and turn left up Whipmawhopmagate. Cross the road and take the first turning to the right, St Saviourgate. St Saviour's Church and DIG is on the right-hand side.
