Braithwaite Gallery

Located just yards from York Minster, in the city's historic Minster Quarter, visit the Braithwaite Gallery for original paintings, limited editions and fine art prints from international and local artists.

On permanent display is the work of resident artist Mark Braithwaite. Mark can often be seen painting 'on location' in our beautiful city. Some of his fantastic Minster prints have been used for fundraising by the cathedral. Mark's extensive portfolio has been nationally published; however the Gallery has many unique works!

The Braithwaite Gallery is the region's official dealer for Jack Vettriano prints and limited editions from Heartbreak Publishing.

Other artists specialised in include Sam Toft, Bill Tolley, Kay Boyce, Sue Howells and David Shepherd.

A family run business; staff are friendly, knowledgeable and informative; many are artists themselves, with work exhibited in the Gallery.

The Gallery also offers a full framing service; mount cutting, bespoke and readymade frames.
