TPT Walking RouteTPT Walking Route

Farm tracks link Sykehouse and Pollington where the route splits from the cycling section and rejoins at Snaith

The flat landscape of the Humberhead Levels makes for very easy walking and cycling. The Trail follows quiet lanes for much of the way interspersed with a few off road sections. Farm tracks link Sykehouse and Pollington where cyclists and walkers follow separate routes to rejoin at Snaith.

More lanes led through villages to the former Burn Airfield and on to the canal towpath at Brayton. The towpath brings you into Selby, where you should make time for a visit to the Abbey that dominates the northern end of the High Street.

Although mainly on quiet lanes, due to the length of this section on road it is not suited to families with young children.
