The Deep

 

The Deep, Hull’s award-winning aquarium, is located just a 60 minute drive from York.

Situated in the City Centre with easy access and on site car parking, visitors can enjoy over 3,500 fish including spectacular sharks and rays, as well as a colony of Gentoo penguins.


Journey through the story of the world’s oceans travelling through a unique blend of spectacular marine life from warm tropical waters to the cold Antarctic seas. Enjoy the fun and educational interactive and audio-visual presentations on your voyage of discovery.

The Observatory café offers a range of homemade hot/cold meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. In peak times, a snack bar serving light bites is also available halfway round the attraction. We also offer an indoor and outdoor picnic area.
