York Food and Drink Festival

22nd September - 1st October 2017

#YorkFoodFest

Welcome to the 21st York Food and Drink Festival!

With a strong return to the Festival's core principles, we're promoting regional food, the diverse food scene of the city and food education.

Entrance to the Festival is free but tickets for a variety of events are now on sale on our website.

The new Food Hub in St Sampson's Square is the heart of the Festival’s programme. It hosts a market of small food producers at the two weekends. During the week the Hub is taken over by 800 primary school children taking cookery sessions. The demonstration area is at the Food Hub, where there will be over 40 demonstrations including Tommy Banks and Andrew Pern. In addition on the “Lawn” beside demonstration area the Festival will be taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Coffee Morning every day, with cakes provided by the many great bakers at the Festival.
