Black Sheep Brewery Tours

Our 'Shepherded' brewery tours take approximately one hour and involve a fascinating trip around our brewhouse and fermenting room. You will experience the Black Sheep brewing process including the aromas of English hops and malted barley, then through the scientific process and finally on to the end product - a glass of our award-winning ales. You can enjoy a meal in the split-level Bistro and Baa...r which serves locally sourced culinary delights. The Sheepy Shop is also available for you to find a 'ewe-nique' gift.

Group visits are welcome, although pre-booking is essential. Opening times vary, due to private functions, so please call in advance to confirm (01765 680101).

Lunch is available daily from 12:00-14:30 and evening meals in the bistro are served from 18:30 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Please note children prices are for ages between 5-17 years.
Under 5's are free.
This includes a hour tour and either a drink, either half of ale, soft drink, tea or coffee.

By Road:
Masham is on the A6108, 9 miles from Ripon and 7 miles from Bedale. The A1 is only 8 miles away. Come into Masham over the bridge, bear right up the short hill past Bank Villa Guest House and turn right just before the garage. Follow the road past the White Bear pub and the Black Sheep works entrance. Take the next right into the Visitor Centre car park.

By Public Transport:-
Buses 159 (Mondays to Saturdays) and 802 (Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays) run between Ripon, Masham, Leyburn and Richmond. For further local public transport information see: www.dalesbus.org
