Malton Food Lovers Festival 2017

Malton Food Lovers Festival 2017

Headlining the 2017 festival cookery theatre is celebrity chef and British-Jamaican reggae musician, Levi Roots. He will be joined by a line-up of culinary names including: food writer and journalist, Prue Leith, who is rumoured to be in the running to present the next Great British Bake Off, and Yorkshire’s finest local talent including chef consultant and Great British Menu contestant, Stephanie Moon.

A jam-packed programme of events and activity will ensure there is something for the whole family across the weekend from chef demonstrations, talks and tastings, an array of stalls and street food, vintage fun fair and children’s zone with pizza making and family fun.

Yorkshire’s popular food town will showcase an amazing array of street food vendors offering dishes from the four corners of the globe. There will also be a festival bar, meaning guests can quench their thirst as well as eat their way around the world. Headlining the festival party on Saturday, Levi Roots and his band will entertain festival goers with reggae tunes late in to the evening. The festival and market is free to enter but some chef demos require the purchase of a ticket.
