31st JORVIK Viking Festival – 14th to 22nd February 2014
Held in February half-term, this nine day Festival drives over 40,000 visitors to York, many of whom are overnight and short-break stays. Following the success of this year’s ‘Ragnarok2014’ festival marketing campaign, which received both national and international coverage, the organisers would like to work more closely with the city’s accommodation providers to help more of these enthusiastic Viking fans stay longer and experience what the festival and the city of York has to offer.
What’s on Offer
To help you to create the most appealing festival ‘mini-break’ package The JORVIK Group are able to offer you a 10% discount on tickets to some of the key events during the festival, including the spectacular finale at the Eye of York. You can offer mid-week or festival finale weekend breaks with help on hand so you can tailor each package to suit the events that are taking place.
Plus, you will be provided with a ‘JORVIK Viking Festival’ marketing pack, including the festival logo and brand guidelines and a selection of images to really help your marketing stand out. Your hotel will be listed on the ‘Accommodation’ page of the festival website (www.jorvik-viking-festival.co.uk/accommodation) and list any offers in festival communications, including eShots, which go out to over 13,000 contacts.
