Open to businesses from all sectors of the tourism industry and visitor economy.
Open to individuals and teams employed in all sectors of the tourism industry eg shops, restaurants, accommodation providers, attractions, tour guides, suppliers and service providers.

Open to all cafes and tearooms and delicatessens offering an ‘eat in’ option.

This award recognises an individual who consistently goes out of his or her way to ensure visitors have a memorable time in York and leave wanting to revisit. Last year’s winner was Damian Cruden, Artistic Director at York Theatre Royal and other previous winners have included Sister Agatha, Berwick Kaler and the Archbishop of York. Our current Tourism Ambassador title is with Damian Cruden, Artistic Director, York Theatre Royal.

Best B&B – The People’s Choice Award
Deadline for entries: 24 March 2014. The Top Five ’B&B of the Year’ nominees will be listed on www.visityork.org mid March and visitors to the website will then be asked to vote for their ultimate favourite. The winner will be announced at a glittering Awards ceremony on Thursday 8 May.
