Invitation to VisitBritain’s trade fair: Building international tourism to Yorkshire
You are invited to join VisitBritain CEO, Sally Balcombe at a trade fair on 27 February.
With international tourism experiencing record visitor spend and numbers, this trade fair will focus on how you can attract an even greater share of Britain’s £22 billion inbound tourism market. The event consists of a seminar on building international tourism to Yorkshire at York Racecourse, followed by a gala dinner with around 50 international buyers at Castle Howard.
The seminar will provide you with an understanding of the inbound tourism landscape and how local tourism strategies are shaping the future of inbound tourism to Yorkshire. You will hear from marketing experts at VisitBritain as well as speakers from GTi Travel Group and Digital Tourism Think Tank present how you can get your product into international markets and reach visitors themselves.
Following the seminar, VisitBritain are hosting a reception and dinner at Castle Howard where they will be joined by 50 overseas buyers from China, France, Belgium, Denmark and Poland all of who have a strong interest in Britain and Yorkshire.
Event attendance is free of charge as your fee has been paid for by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
