Ey up, the Tour de Yorkshire’s Coming!
1-3 May 2015
York is the official host city for the second stage finish of the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire on Saturday 2 May.
This international race will entice some of the biggest names in cycling to our region to compete in what promises to be an action packed three days.
The racing in York will take place on a 20km circuit of the city – a map of this circuit can be found online here. A women’s race will take place in the morning and the men’s event will arrive in our city in the afternoon.
It is anticipated that the race route roads will close at 8am on Saturday 2 May, reopening at approximately 5pm or as soon as possible after the race has finished. We hope your business is looking forward to making the most of professional cycling coming to our region once again.
