Visit York Takes Top Spot in National Online Travel Awards. Another Tourism Award For York!

Visit York’s website has beaten off competition from top names in online travel, including TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel review site, to win Best Travel Information Website in the 2013 Travolution Awards.

Judged by a panel of proven business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs including Google, Expedia, Virgin Holidays and Travelzoo, they are the UK travel industry’s highest accolade for innovation and excellence online.

The title was given to the website judges considered to have achieved the greatest impact in its market, with the best originality of design, overall user experience and highest level of innovation against the wider web community. The Travolution Awards are unique in recognising companies, brands and individuals who excel in the fields of online travel distribution, digital marketing and technology.
