Santan's grotto is back- with demonic new twist
01/12/2010
After a gap year in 2009 The York Dungeon's infamous Satan's Grotto is back by popular demand this Christmas - with a demonic new twist. The Prince of Darkness will once again preside over his grotesque grotto complete with robins roasting on an open fire, impaled elves and bubbling witches cauldrons. PLUS this year those who dare to enter his lair will also be "treated" to a chorus from Satan's personal Carol Sinners. More songs from hell than jingle bells, those of a sensitive disposition should bring ear plugs. The ultimate antidote to egg nog and Noel Satan's Grotto guarantees an altogether more twisted yuletide.
Should visitors make their way successfully through Satan's lair there's centuries of blood, gore and more to discover from the Dungeon's latest show: Witches: Burned Alive to terrors in the torture chamber to the pestilence of the plague.
Satan's Grotto's will also be open at The London and Edinburgh Dungeons.
