After three successful years catering for York's vibrant nightlife, the wait is finally over for party-goers across the city as the transformation of one of its biggest bar venues is now complete.

On Friday, 11th February, Revolution - the UK's favourite vodka bar, situated on Coney Street will host a spectacular VIP launch party weekend to celebrate its multi-million pound grand reopening. Complete with Revolution party elements including free food, vodka and cocktail sampling, live music and cabaret acts, special guest DJ's and the official launch of the Revolucion De Cuba clubroom.

Boasting the biggest riverside terrace in York, the venue has been transformed to nearly double its size - with three state-of-the-art dance floors designed to cater for over 750 revellers.

Laura Morris, general manager at Revolution in York, said: "With York being a stunning city that offers a pulsating nightlife, we wanted to completely transform our venue so that it provides the perfect environment to enjoy with friends or colleagues, day or night." 

World renowned for its vodka expertise, Revolution is also introducing its new ‘Revolucion De Cuba' (The Rum Club) concept to York in its clubroom dedicated to serving 50 different rums from across the globe. From the hugely popular Mojito to the classic Rum Punch - mixologists will provide a host of exciting cocktails and Cuban-inspired tipples to appeal to all tastes.

For those looking for a more relaxed pace in luxurious surroundings, the redesigned ground floor cocktail bar and restaurant provides a contemporary menu of inspired bar food.

The new venue redesign is tailor made for customers who wish to book private parties for corporate events or special occasions with families and friends, new features include cosy booths and private rooms. Themed nights catering for the city's student population will also be held throughout the week.

Revolution was founded in 1996 in Manchester and now has 63 venues across the country. The unique bar group offers 30 different flavour vodka infusions, all created in Revolution's own Vodka Factory in Manchester.
