A local York artist, who specialises in illustration and pattern design, has brought a splash of colour and personality to the walls of Treasurer's House Gallery recently, with her original prints, gifts and cards all of which are for sale - and selling fast!

Holly Argyll has launched her first solo exhibition at Treasurer's House with a stunning array of illustrations - some of her inspiration drawn from the antics of her naughty cat Ernie and his adventures!

Lisa Holden, Visitor Services Manager said:

"Holly has called her exhibition "A cat's finest foes and friends." Chickens, foxes and birds are all brought to life in such a way, you just can't help smiling when you see them."

Holly Argyll's exhibition runs from Saturday 4 June until Sunday 3 July. Access is free to the gallery inside Treasurer's House and is open daily 11am- 4.30pm, closed Fridays. A percentage of the sales contribute towards the conservation of the National Trust's Treasurer's House.
