Delicious, the refurbished deli in Strensall, York, has re-opened after an extensive change to style and products.

The deli, which was originally ‘Hannington Caterers and Sandwich Shop' at 33 The Village, Strensall, has had a £20 thousand make-over and layout transformation.

Delicious will offer a chance to taste their new products including speciality breads, freshly baked pastries, Paninis, wraps and quality coffees.

All products are created from local and fresh produce, and all fresh items are prepared on the day of sale.

Small samples of these products will be available to try for free to all customers.

As well as the free samples, customers can now buy a range of hot beverages chosen from the deli's ‘Quality' collection.

A catering service is also available for up to 2000 people. All food, settings and waitressing services are provided by Delicious. This catering service has been established for many years through the previous company, and is highly recommended.

Pete Hough, owner of Delicious said, "I am incredibly excited about the refurbishment. A lot of money has gone into transforming this shop from a small sandwich shop into what I hope will one day be a highlight of York's food and catering industry".
