Bedern Hall the historic meetings venue York is opening its doors on a series of open days this autumn and offering available dates for wedding ceremonies and receptions in 2012.

The open days are planned for:
• Saturday 20th August - 9.30 to 12 noon
• Saturday 17th September - 2pm to 4pm
• Saturday 22nd October 2011 - 9.30 to 12 noon

Visiting couples can pre-reserve a personal viewing time that will allow a full appraisal of the venue and to discuss costs for their individual requirements on their special day. A reduced hire price is available to couples booking and confirming their wedding on one of the open days.

Roger Lee of Time and Place Catering and who manages Bedern Hall for the Guilds of York comments: "Wedding ceremonies and receptions are an important part of our business and we have a number of dates still available for 2012. As there are likely to be many other events taking place in Olympic year and dates will disappear, we want to encourage couples to see what is available, explain clearly the value that Bedern Hall provides and to help with their choice."
