Highly Anticipated Launch of UGOT Eatery to Take Place in York Station

UGOT are proud to be able to share with you that the highly anticipated launch of UGOT is due to take place on the 21st October at their first store in York Station on Platform three. UGOT is an exciting unique take on “fast-casual” dining which caters to a young health and fashion conscious crowd.

UGOT is the brainchild of Joe Carnell (20); James Gartshore-Boulter (20) and world renowned entrepreneur and current face of Puma - Jamal Edwards (22). One of many remarkable things these three have in common is their passion to inspire “self belief” in both themselves and others by proving that todays youth are capable of becoming whatever they want to be. Indeed “Self Belief” is even the title of Jamal Edwards recently published book, which astonishingly has beaten literary magnates such as Dan Brown to the number one spot in the iTunes downloads chart.

When UGOT opens in the station it will stock it’s selection of freshly made “grab and go” products including freshly squeezed juices, frozen yoghurt, sandwiches, salads, wraps and an assortment of healthy breakfast options. UGOT has also worked closely with nexpresso to deliver a great tasting coffee. Co-Founder Joe Carnell said that “for the past eight months we have meticulously researched and worked alongside some of the best chefs in the UK and USA to develop a nutritious and tasty range of “Grab and Go” produce. Our chocolate moose had at least 50 different adjustments, until we were finally happy with the low calorie count and taste. We pride ourselves on being honest with consumers and delivering a product we can be proud of!”.

UGOT is the only known high street brand to have been 100% carbon emission free from conception and has set up a system to help fund relief projects in Mozambique to offset their carbon footprint here in the UK. Over the next year UGOT has big plans to expand rapidly throughout the North of England and they have secured three more sites in neighboring cities before looking to expand down South.

The UGOT team are extremely excited about launching their first store. Co-Founder James Gartshore-Boulter said “We believe that many eateries have become mundane and unimaginative. We intend to inject a lease of new life into the british high street and prove to customers you don’t have to compromise on nutritious content, price or taste!”.
