Shambles Market, one of the few UK markets open seven days a week, is giving local musicians the chance to showcase their talent for free every day between 11am and 3pm.
Musicians can book one-hour or two-hours slots to perform acoustically in a space located in the new Shambles Market Food Courtyard.
Steve Shooter, interim markets manager at Shambles Market, said: “With plenty of outdoor seating and fantastic food kiosks in our new-look Food Courtyard, we’d like to encourage visitors and residents to visit Shambles Market for an alfresco lunch throughout the summer. All performances will be carefully monitored for quality and we’ll ensure there’s no amplification to help create an enjoyable ambience, for traders and visitors to the market.”
