News Release - Issued by Stockeld Park
Stockeld Park opened again on Saturday 24th for Springtime holiday adventures and on Bank Holiday Monday there was a very special guest with a visit from CBeebies ‘Mr Bloom’.
Mr Bloom performed a great show and was joined by friends Fairy Enchantica, PomPom and Stanley for meet and greets. There were also 20 lucky winners selected to help plant the first of this year’s magic Pumpkins in Stockeld Park’s very own Pumpkin Patch. Mr Bloom added, “I was so happy to see all the boys and girls at Stockeld Park today and help plant their Pumpkin Patch ready for Halloween”
Everyday this May half term there will be Spring themed merriment and activities, such as a daily snail racing, a planting zone and the gardening theme continues further with a search for some naughty Garden gnomes who have escaped from Farmer Fosters Barnyard and are lost in the maze, help to find them and you could win your own Junior Gardener kit.
All of this is alongside Stockeld Park’s usual exciting mix of attractions including a roller rink, Enchanted Forest (filled with original and creative adventure), playground areas, huge maze, enormous inflatable slide, giant indoor and outdoor jumping pillows, electric scooters, ice cream parlour, indoor play zone and crafty craft area, you really can spend a whole day at Stockeld Park.
Phew! After all that, relax in the licensed Woodland Café, serving home-made, locally sourced food or bring your own picnic and relax in the picnic field, with space hoppers, football nets and plenty of field for the kids to run around in.
