A Knight to Remember!

Coconut halves at the ready as historic Barley Hall plays host to a special screening of the hilarious Monty Python classic for Museums at Night.

Film fans are invited to take up the quest for the Holy Grail this May when the medieval townhouse of Barley Hall, off Stonegate, becomes a pop-up cinema to celebrate the 41st anniversary of ‘Monty Python’s Holy Grail’ - a story of chivalrous Knights, politically astute serfs, rude Frenchmen and giant bunnies…

“We love to offer our visitors new experiences, so hosting a medieval-themed cinema in atmospheric Barley Hall seemed the perfect fit. There is a lot of love for this farcical tale on the search for shrubbery and we look forward to offering Python fans some Camelot-inspired fun!”

The event is part of the national Museums at Night campaign, which invites museums from across the UK to open their doors after dark and offer unique experiences to visitors.
