The Author

Mike Pannett was born in York and served nearly twenty years in the police. He is the author of Now Then Lad, You’re Coming with Me, Lad, Not on my Patch, Lad, just the Job, Lad and Up Beat and Down Dale. Today he regularly appears on primetime national BBC TV News and Radio to talk about more serious issues and current affairs and has been entertaining audiences at public speaking engagements for the past three years.
