Fusion Exhibition at York Theatre Royal

York College BA (Hons) in Contemporary 3D Crafts students are displaying an artistic showcase of their work in an exhibition called ‘Fusion’ at York Theatre Royal (4th – 14th April 2014.

The exhibition features individual pieces incorporating a variety of materials and artistic processes ranging from ceramics, porcelain and stoneware to wood, acrylics, enamel on copper and mixed media.

Says student Carolyn Thorpe: “In the final year of our degree course we are delighted to have the chance to exhibit our work in a prestigious venue in the city centre. During our studies we have experimented and specialised in various art forms and we are pleased to showcase this in the Fusion exhibition. During the three years of the course we have all grown in confidence and in the future we hope to progress as artists and develop our creative talents.”
