News Release - Issued by York's CHOCOLATE Story
Visitor attraction York’s CHOCOLATE Story has announced the appointment of new General Manager Nikola Jacobs. Nikola, 28, joins the team with a wealth of experience from national family entertainment chain Gambado Ltd.
Miss Jacobs has been appointed by owner and operator of York’s CHOCOLATE Story, Continuum Leading Attractions, and is relocating from Edinburgh for the role. Nikola aims to drive footfall to the attraction, which opened in March 2012 and build on the current brand, including improving the site’s retail and café offer. With a degree in Events Management from nearby Leeds Metropolitan University and working with the Leeds Chamber of Commerce as an Events Coordinator, Nikola also intends to refine the attraction’s corporate and private hire offer.
Kevin Smith, Group Director of Attractions at Continuum Leading Attractions, comments:
"Nikola is already proving to be a great asset to York’s CHOCOLATE Story. With experience across events, team management and operations, we’re sure Nikola will drive York’s CHOCOLATE Story to become one of the North’s most popular visitor attractions."
Nikola Jacobs, General Manager of York’s CHOCOLATE Story said:
