Legally Blonde The Musical comes to York  - 05/08/2011

The Grand Opera House York is now set to get its own piece of Broadway and West End show glamour with the critically acclaimed "Legally Blonde - The Musical" which is currently touring the UK

This show is based on the hit Hollywood movie starring Reese Witherspoon. The new production has been adapted for the stage and led by Tony Award-winning director and Olivier Award-nominated choreographer Jerry Mitchell (of the Hairspray fame).

For those of you how have not seen the film; "a college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn't take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School". Legally Blonde The Musical will take you from the social world of a California Campus life to Harvard's Halls of Justice with the brightest new heroine (and of course, her cute Chihuahua, "Bruiser").
