City ScreenCity Screen

City Screen York has been dubbed one of the finest quality cinemas in Europe. It comprises three luxurious screens with an incomparable choice in comfort, sound and vision, which show independent arthouse films as well as mainstream blockbuster movies. The cinema also boasts a spacious riverside cafe-bar with restaurant facilities, a basement internet cafe, a nightly ‘live’ music venue, Sunday’s Hyena Comedy Lounge, and art galleries featuring York artists. For conferencing, the largest of the City Screen auditoria will seat 224 people and has DVD, 35mm, and Beta sp projection facilities.
