Science City York
Science City York is a partnership between City of York Council and the University of York supported by Yorkshire Forward, which nurtures the creation and growth of technology-based businesses. Our purpose is to create new business and employment opportunities in York and North Yorkshire through the development of the science and technology industries.

Science City York also has a community science brief promoting awareness of science and technology amongst the general public, and providing an insight into the development and benefits of a science and technology-based economy. Activities include monthly Café Scientifique discussion sessions, the York Festival of Science and Technology, and Science Bite Size Tasters.
