As part of The Grand Hotel & Spa, York’s new £15 million development, The Grand is set to open the doors to the anticipated 130 seater new vibrant restaurant and bar on 1st June 2017, adding to the already popular Grand Bar and Hudson’s Restaurant within Yorkshire’s only five star hotel.
Situated on the former terrace area, the new restaurant menu has been produced by award-winning Head Chef, Craig Atchinson, who has been in the capacity of Head Chef at The Grand for two and a half years. The menu is described as being a modern British take on the popular Tapas style cuisine where guests can enjoy an array of flavours, perfect for sharing, creating a more casual vibe and informal but stylish setting to that of its fine dining counterpart, Hudson’s. A vast selection of drinks including wines, signature cocktails, local beers and ales will also be served. The new development will also host live music from acoustic music to DJ’s, making it the finest place in York to dine, drink and meet.
The restaurant will be open to both non-residents and hotel residents.
