Cedar Court Grand Hotel and Spa today announced that it has been added to the Expedia Insiders’ Select™ list for 2013, an annual ranking of best-reviewed hotels as determined by the world’s leading full-service online travel agency.
The Insiders’ Select list recognizes the top-ranked hotels available in the Expedia global marketplace, as judged by more than 1 million annual guest reviews. As the largest full-service online travel agency in the world, Expedia, Inc. has unmatched traveler insight and local market destination expertise.
The exclusive 2013 list designates only 650 hotels as Insiders’ Select hotels, from among the more than 150,000 properties available on Expedia-branded sites worldwide. Insiders’ Select helps travelers make confident decisions by identifying the hotels in their destination that have been recognized by other travelers as delivering an excellent overall experience.

The Grand has 107 bedrooms, including 13 suites and a lavish penthouse. As a Grade II listed building, many of the original features remain; these include beautiful mosaic tiling, parquet floors and wood panelled meeting rooms. You don’t have to check in to check out The Grand: anyone can experience the champagne and cocktail bar, whisky lounge, HQ Restaurant (which serves Afternoon Tea and is a private dining room) and The Grill Room at The Grand.
The Grand is also home to Spa at the Grand, one of Yorkshire’s most luxurious spas. Set in the building’s atmospheric vaults, The Spa offers a range of therapeutic face and body care treatments, and guests also have access to the gym, sauna, swimming pool, steam room and relaxation rooms.
