York is allegedly the most haunted city in Europe so use an autumn evening at take your delegates out for a spot of ghost hunting! Enjoy an after conference drink & canape reception at one of York's historic (and haunted!) venues, such as the splendid Merchant Taylors Hall, and when you feel brave enough to face the ghouls, take advantage of one of the many Ghost Walks, all of whom can be privately hired, to guide you round the city at night.

If you'd rather stay inside, have then ghosts come to you! Venues such as the intimate Bedern Hall can arrange a fabulous dinner followed by dramatisations of writers such as Poe and Conan-Doyle, creating a wonderfully atmospheric evening.
