We run a number of VIP events for Ambassadors throughout the year, from drinks & canapes in very special venues, to concert tickets, Spa treatments and exclusive viewings of upcoming exhibitions.

Relax and Spa with Cedar Court Grand
12th October 2011 We were invited to have dinks and canapés at the beautiful Cedar Court Grand, a great venue for VIP dinners and as a headquarters hotel. After an opportunity to view the facilities, including the luxurious Spa, the Ambassadors were then treated to a 15 minute nail file and polish or a hand and arm massage.
VIP Launch of Illuminating York

The York Ambassadors were invited to the official opening of Illuminating York, the annual digital arts and lighting festival which invites visitors and residents to discover York in a new light. Having met in Kirkgate for drinks and nibbles, the Ambassadors were then takem outside for the first look at the new light instillations.
Using modern lighting and projection mapping technology, GaiaNova and United VJs (a collective of International artists) created a breathtaking piece of 3D digital artwork which transformed the North building of the 18th century Castle Museum in the Eye of York into a spectacular vision of colour and imagery.
As well as this there was an extensive program of supporting events offering visitors the opportunity to visit other famous sites at night, as many of York's iconic visitor attractions opened their doors after hours and invited visitors to a series of special performances, installations and exhibitions guaranteed to delight.
