York's Chocolate Story, located in the heart of York, offers groups of all ages an entertaining and informative guided tour through the history of York's most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. Whether you are looking to explore York’s social history, take a trip down memory lane or taste some of the finest chocolate the city has to offer, a guided tour with us is a wonderful addition to any itinerary. Preferential rates are available for pre-booked groups of fifteen or more people.

York’s Chocolate Story also offers an award-winning educational programme for students of all ages. Follow the story from bean to bar, discover the Aztec gift of the gods, study changing states with chocolate and bring York’s chocolate factories to life! Get hands-on in our Factory Zone and create your own chocolate bar to take home! Guests can also explore our exhibition commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of WWI: ‘A Taste of Home,’ running until 31st December 2014.
